We publish corrections rather than editing quietly. Each entry below records the date, the page, what changed and the source that prompted it. The most recent material change is the fee correction published on 2026-09-18.

Log
Re-read the official Terms of Service and fixed claims that disagreed with them. The wallet arrangement is now described as documented rather than unknown: the Terms state the trading wallet is non-custodial, is generated and managed by Privy, and that private keys can be viewed and exported, while Fomo disclaims responsibility for asset security and lost credentials. Removed the 'stated fee floor' wording, because the current Terms publish no fixed minimum spot charge, and removed a review passage that treated a minimum charge as an established feature. Removed the implication that impersonators rather than market losses are the main financial risk. Replaced 'most transfers settle within minutes' with wording that states no processing-time commitment is documented.

Consolidated the homepage: the two overlapping FAQ blocks are now one list of seven distinct questions that also generates the FAQPage structured data, and the duplicated suitability panel was replaced with links to the pages holding the detail (review, fees, legitimacy).
- CorrectionSupported chains
Separated two things that were previously blurred together. The chains named for buying tokens (Solana, Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, Monad) come from the official iOS App Store listing. Deposit and withdrawal network support is account-specific, is not published as a list, and is now stated separately as unverified.

- VerificationMobile app and web app
Added the official store destinations and developer details (iOS listing by fomo labs, inc, requiring iOS 16.4 or later; Google Play package family.fomo.app) and stated explicitly that installing from a store does not attach a referral code. The web page now covers reaching the official login safely and says clearly that this site hosts no sign-in form.

- UpdateGuides
Completed a consolidation that had been left half-finished. Six guides that duplicated a stronger core page (fees, referral code, safety, deposits, withdrawals, exchange comparison) now redirect with a single-hop 301 to that page, and their useful material is published there. They are excluded from the guide hub, internal search and the sitemap.
- UpdateFomo Family alternatives
Replaced the category-only comparison with named alternatives — Axiom, GMGN, large centralised exchanges and self-custody wallets — described from each product's own public materials. We have no commercial relationship with Axiom or GMGN and make no claim of having tested them.
- CorrectionFomo referral code
Replaced the previous 'no verified referral benefit / same fees either way' wording sitewide. Referral code 345436, contained in our referral link, currently provides eligible users with 10% off eligible Fomo fees. The official Fomo referral landing page for the code displays it alongside the line 'Enter your code in-app to get 10% off fees'; we captured that page on 2026-08-21 and publish the screenshot on /referral-code as supporting evidence. We do not claim the discount is permanent and we state explicitly that it does not cover blockchain gas, third-party protocol fees, Perps funding payments or payment-provider charges.

- CorrectionFomo fees
Removed the previously published '0.50% per transaction with a $0.95 minimum' spot figures sitewide. Fomo's current Terms state the spot fee depends on transaction size and type, the token and routing, and is displayed before confirmation. The 0.05% Perps fee is retained as stated. All pages, tables, FAQs and metadata that repeated the old figures were rewritten.

Consolidated JSON-LD into a single centralised module and confirmed no Product, Offer, AggregateOffer, AggregateRating or Review markup is emitted anywhere, resolving merchant-listing errors reported in Search Console.
